PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking Repair Design/Development Engineer in Wichita, KS
Responsible for designing extended repairs in order to restore airworthiness in aircraft components and assemblies that were otherwise deemed scrap.
Write work instructions for operations to carry out the manufacturing processes required.
Justify the repairs through use of engineering analysis and tools such as hand calculations, finite element analysis, and other methods.
Coordinate with approving agencies in order to gain approval/certification of the repairs.
Adhere to and improve the quality standards used in the aerospace industry as well as client Aviation.
5+ Years with military and civil aircraft experience.
Good with internal and external customers.
Liaison Engineering experience
Familiar with industry standard repair practices
Familiar with NDI and other inspection methods and results
