DHL Express is seeking a Revenue and Market Senior Analyst for its office in Diegem, Belgium. The purpose of this role is to report and analyze business related activities in ACS maximizing aircraft utilization at premium performance; to analyze revenue, yield and market development; to develop and implement revenue management and forecasting techniques/tools.
YOUR TASKS
Work in close collaboration with ACS Sales management teams to implement Sales specific analysis
Analyze traffic flows and flight trends to ensure right flows are carried on flights
Monitor and analyze market development and provide support to Senior Management to develop marketing and business strategies, priorities, and plans
On the global level, lead the development and deployment Revenue management and Forecasting techniques: Density engine, Capacity forecasting, yield management, Allocations management prioritization, etc.
Initiate and implement pro-active solutions in order to increase focus on Revenue generation
Be the business owner of the GUARD data warehouse:
Define data requirements
Bug fixing
Request for potential improvements
Challenge set systems and analysis in order to bring the optimum service quality to ACS stakeholders
Research and development: lead the market researches on revenue management techniques
Coordinate the automation/ semi-automation process of reports in ownership with support of B.I./ITSS teams
Support First Choice initiatives with value added analysis
Encourage effective cooperation between different internal teams
Influence decisions/actions of internal stakeholders and deploy BDP’s
Interact with internal stakeholders & GSA’s to ensure highest confidence levels and performance
Federate organization around the Change management philosophy
YOUR PROFILE
Attention to details, strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Commercial awareness
Technical forecasting knowledge
Excellent knowledge of Access, Excel, VBA
Back track of experiences with the creation and manipulation of Access databases and writing SQL queries
Ability to think laterally, come up with innovative solutions and challenge the ideas of others
Ability to cope with tight deadlines
Fluent in English and preferably another European language
Strong interpersonal / communication skills to be able to deal with people across different functions and seniority levels
A team player
5 years in Aviation/Cargo industry in related area of responsibility
University degree or equivalent
Programming expertise is a must
