This is a multi-level position Systems Integration Technologist or Sr. Systems Integration Technologist position based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience, and requirements for the position.

RMD currently has an opening for a Systems Integrator.

The selected individual will be responsible for performing a full range of Digital Technology integration functions. This position ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software, and related procedures adhere to organizational and security-based policies.

This role will act as a key stakeholder in meeting organizational milestones by integrating new technology with current infrastructure.

Candidate will be responsible for maintaining schedule and cost while performing duties. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

Provide technical support to end-users who need assistance utilizing client level hardware and software

Plan, implement, and operate network services and systems, to include hardware and virtual environments

Setup and maintain systems including installation, configuration, and updating of hardware and software to meet functional requirements.

Research new technology as an option to mitigate obsolescence and technical shortfalls.

Support initiatives that require technical integration, providing designs and documentation of final solutions.


Install, configure, and maintain workstation and server hardware and software

Implement and troubleshoot technical security controls

Update malicious code detection systems (e.g. Antivirus definitions)

Create and modify user accounts and associated access control lists

Install software patches, updates, and IAVA (or similar) updates

Perform data backups of information systems

Install and configure security-relevant software and perform security related compliance documentation

Perform and maintain system inventories (hardware and software)

Generate and maintain relevant documentation

Communicate directly with customers to define required tools and resources, investigate new procedures, and / or identify and resolve Information Technology issues

Prioritize and fulfill a variety of Information Technology requests

Work in team environments and collaborate across multiple IT disciplines

Minimum Required Skills


Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field, and 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in a STEM or IT field, 8 years of related experience

Experience in multiple Operating System Administration:

such as ,

Windows desktop administration (Windows 7 or newer) ,

Windows Server administration (Windows Server 2012 or newer) to include infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.


Linux Redhat RHEL6, RHEL7 and RHEL8 administration

Experience researching compliance issues, and formulating recommendations to management

Experience Basic Windows scripting

Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment.

In-depth working experience in Windows Server 2008, 2012, or 2016

Knowledge of data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions

Familiar with TCP/IP, switches, firewalls, routers, and their basic operations

Patch management experience using Windows WSUS or SCCM

Knowledge and experience using Digital Technology project lifecycle

Experience with license managers in a heterogeneous environment

Solid experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX virtual computing methods

Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development

Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, Exchange, and Lync

Working knowledge of Backup Exec, NetApp Snap Protect, data backup technologies, systems principles, and safeguards

Advanced scripting experience

CompTIA Security+, or equivalent DoD 8570 certification for IAT Level II

Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, and/or DoD/RMF

Experience deploying NAS Storage utilizing Network Appliance FAS/FFS Series Systems

Experience in Project Leadership, Management, or Project management in an IT domain
