Boston Scientific Corporation Production Manager I in St. Paul, Minnesota

Production Manager I with Boston Scientific Corporation (St. Paul, MN) Planning, directing and coordinating the operation of all production processes to meet corporate business metric directives. Communicating, managing, and developing plans with corporate/divisional input including RandD, Quality, Global Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing. Strategic technology development with improvement focus on closed loop vision systems, automated and integrated information systems and user outputs. Ensuring the onboarding of a competitive and diverse talent pool to support strategic technology development while reducing knowledge gaps with existing employees. Developing manpower requirements based on product forecasts and setting priorities for production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply. Making budget recommendations on Capital expenditures and labor. Supporting initiatives for maintenance, testing, evaluation, and control of equipment and processes to monitor and sustain the EMS. Assuring the appropriate resources are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy. Establishing and promoting a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System. Position supervises 2 direct and 65 indirect subordinates including Production Supervisors, Production Controllers, Lean Specialists, and Product Builders. Requirements: Requires Bachelor s degree in Management, Engineering (any) or related field. Position requires 5 years post-bachelor s progressive related experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Leading new manufacturing site startups, including on-time transfers and ramp to production launch; Product life cycle including RandD, Process Development, and Manufacturing ramp/sustaining operations; Assessing core business metrics, labor efficiency, absorption, WIP $, CBP, Service level agreements and Capital spend; Data management and analysis and interpretation of data to drive business decisions, using adaptive insights, SAP, MES BO, Windchill, and statistics software (JMP, Minitab and Tableau); Develop plant technology 5-10 year roadmap plans with capital investment versus return of investment, cost of goods sold, global supply chain technologies, and opportunities for new products; Early adoption of future trends in visualization, manufacturing and assembly.
