Regions Hospital Ambulatory Coordinator in St. Paul, Minnesota

Ambulatory Coordinator Job ID:57065 Department:Digestive Care City:St Paul, MN Location:RH - St Paul Specialty Ctr 435 Bldg Position Type:Full-Time Anticipated Work Schedule:Days along with some evenings (12:00-8:00 pm) and Saturdays Shift:Day/Evening Hrs/Pay Period:80 The Ambulatory Coordinator position performs scheduling and clerical support functions for the Digestive Care Clinic, including: consistently and accurately scheduling endoscopic procedure and ambulatory clinic appointments seeking clarification on unclear orders assembling patient admission and discharge paperwork referring requests for orders to the nurse through the use or in basket message in Epic sending patient documents to Health Information Management after discharge ordering and maintaining adequate supplies facilitating communication between staff, patients, families and care providers and between the unit and other hospital departments This position requires you to manage simultaneously many activities impacting patient care while providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors. Required Qualifications: Previous clerical and/or customer service experience.
