KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Digital Management (Computer Security Incident Response Team) to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Perform as the service owner for related technologies and services; lead and direct the daily operational responsibility of security monitoring and incident response resources, tools and processes; identify opportunities for efficiencies, as well as for improvements in security controls; lead the design and implementation of related improvement
Accountable for managing an effective team dedicated to fulfilling the organization's mission through highly successful program implementation, team engagement, and continuous improvement; and creating a culture of transparency and communication throughout the organization
Optimize performance, quality and cost of the delivery function by defining and implementing proper resourcing, offshoring scope and utilization, increasing automation and process efficiency
Interact regularly with delivery partners and/or department leaders while proactively initiating ideas to improve client service for a specific work product within a department; contribute to department or group objectives, strategy and priority
Accountable for global resource center partnership (i.e., outsource/captive providers) and to achieve project or service success metrics; including all vendor contractual obligations, i.e. SLA management, work product and review/revisions and acceptance/sign-off, phase gate approvals, payment and penalty approvals
Become a trusted advisor to clients and others within the firm to achieve the required goals and objectives while Integrating new team members and connect them to the resources and opportunities to help further their development and career goals
Minimum ten years of daily operations in cyber security threat monitoring and response, as well as significant contributions to the security monitoring and response strategy
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required; Master's degree preferred
Knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux), endpoint security principles, networking services and protocols; understanding of security technologies (IDS, firewalls, SIEM), cloud security monitoring technologies and the desire to remain technically hands-on, but also operate on a strategic level
Subject matter experience obtained by performing or leading activities such as: full incident response life cycle (i.e. preparation, detection and analysis; containment, eradication and recovery, as well as post-incident activity); cyber threat monitoring and incident response, on premise and in cloud environments; Computer forensics; Threat analysis and threat hunting; Threat intelligence collection, curation and implementation; defining Security Operations Center (SOC) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
