Comcast Sr. Director, Construction Planning & Design Ops Support in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance for the planning and design of broadband communication systems. Develops long- term plan for service expansion. Ensures current projects remain within budgetary limits. Prepares and maintains budgets and project documentation. Identifies new service areas. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization's business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversight and leadership of P&D/Construction Support team

  • Define program scope, goals, and deliverables; incorporate input from cross-functional team members and communicate to senior partners for C20 Initiatives.

  • Partner with Next Generation Access Network (NGAN) Field Ops on quality and standards development

  • Partners with Next Generation Access Network (NGAN) technology and tool teams to drive technological solutions to drive efficiencies.

  • Supports aligned organizational design, implementation, and maintenance.

  • Supports National SOM maintenance

  • Works cross-functionally with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve handoffs.

  • Responsible for National NDEA SOW verbiage

  • Collaborates with Corporate/Legal and Procurement to ensure that all contractors/vendors meet all Comcast Design Standards

  • Supports Business Partner consolidation and optimization opportunities.

  • Design of CMAP approach in collaboration with Divisions

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Likely requires travel.

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
