  • Review and analyze technology debt and environments across multiple technologies

  • Make scalability assessments for existing and future features

  • Create conceptual views, flow diagrams and presentations to communicate approaches to senior leadership and constituent teams

  • Document design solutions using tools like Visio, PowerPoint and Excel; understand how align documents to purpose and audience

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create innovative solutions to produce high quality, innovative design for future implementations

  • Work closely with the engineering, infrastructure and security teams to perform duties.

  • Thoroughly understand financial impacts and interact with budget owners as required

  • Oversee the roll out of remediation efforts identified and undertaken

  • Operate in an evolving agile environment where we seek to continuously improve and support our peers


  • Experience in developing Java applications, APIs and services with solid understanding of underlying data bases, tech stack and hosting environment

  • Experience with legacy and cloud based platforms

  • Understanding of “big picture” conceptual product flows and supporting designs

  • Excellent Leadership, planning and negotiation skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Thorough knowledge of frameworks, procedures, and practices.

  • Solid engineer or developer background; Strategic thinker with ability to formulate plans, strategies, and outcomes

  • Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex architectural challenges with innovative solutions

  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions; extremely detail oriented; strong customer services focus.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work environment and make independent decisions.

  • Ability to present Architecture concepts and ideas both verbally and in writing to executive staff, business sponsors and technical staff to ensure that all of technology and its business clients understand and supports the architectural direction.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 11 years of experience.

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
