Join a growing and dynamic marketing team in one of AbbVie’s newest businesses! As Product Manager, Anti-Infectives Marketing you will work across three antibiotics brands (Avycaz, Dalvance and Teflaro), with responsibility for cross-franchise activities such as promo med ed, medical conference initiatives, and field force engagement. This position reports to the Associate VP, Anti-Infectives Marketing.
A strong collaborator who would enjoy working cross-functionally with colleagues in Marketing, Training, Sales, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance
Adept at utilizing customer and marketplace insights to identify, develop and execute business initiatives
A strategic thinker and brand developer who can put ideas into action
Be responsible for managing promotional medical education, medical conferences and other cross-portfolio activities that cut across all three anti-infectives brands
Serve as the marketing team lead for Field Force Engagement, collaborate closely with Sales and Sales Training on training and communications initiatives
Contribute to strategic and tactical planning for the three anti-infectives brands
Work towards other initiatives. Vendor and Agency Management for Professional Projects.
Demonstrate fiscal Responsibility. Manage budget to optimize spend against highest ROI tactics
At least 3 years progressive experience in pharmaceutical brand management, sales, or sales training
Experience in antibiotics / hospital market preferred
Outstanding planning and organizational skills with exceptionally high attention to quality of detail and proven track record of results and follow-up
Understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace including medical, regulatory and clinical processes
Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Significant Work Activities
Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
