The Marketing Manager helps our team identify and track business opportunities, advise and assist developing relationships with prospective clients, coordinates office marketing strategies and executes internal and external communications. In this position, you will collaborate with numerous industry leaders and other marketing and business development personnel throughout the firm. This role will be based out of our New York office.

What You Will Do:
Identify appropriate marketing strategies and tactics to improve brand awareness and generate demand for BKD services.
Work with Office Industry Leaders (OILs) in developing office industry plans and ensuring completion of plan tasks.
Assist executives in developing and executing on personal growth plans.
Assist executives with nurturing of prospects by researching, identifying and drafting communications and campaigns to keep BKD in front of targeted prospects
Lead, coordinate and design new and creative ideas around the firm’s prospecting efforts
Lead the development and execution of seminars/roundtables, speaking engagements and client appreciation events
Identify and coordinate strategic community involvement and sponsorships
Develop a local market advertising plan, coordinate ad placements and track ad metrics.
Actively manage successful sales pursuit efforts through team involvement, market research and communication throughout impact prospect opportunities
Manage contacts using Salesforce CRM system including entering new contacts, updating contacts, supporting lead generating activities and creating reports
Identify, compose and submit social media posts for posting on BKD social media accounts
Develop and execute a media and public relations plan. Develop relationships with journalists to position BKD as the “go-to” resource for accounting information
Develop announcements celebrating client pursuit successes

Some travel and early/evening hours may be required
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years or more of B2B marketing experience; proven track record of developing and executing business development marketing plans
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field
Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM system
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience at a professional services firm is ideal
