THE POSITION

PennDOT Engineering District 3-0 is currently hiring a Custodial Worker 1 in the Montoursville location in Lycoming County. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Custodial Worker 1, you'll provide janitorial functions for the District Office building and grounds. Work is performed in an air-conditioned/heated building. You'll also travel to deliver mail to the post office, deliver recyclable items to the recycling center, and run various errands to deliver/pick-up items. Other duties include cleaning walls, toilets, lavatories, and urinals in restrooms as well as clean carpet, mops and waxes tile floors. Perform other related duties as required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

No previous experience and training required, however work experience as a custodian, janitor, or cleaning person is preferred. (Experience might include such things as manual labor in buildings and grounds; cleaning restrooms and offices, public and outdoor areas; mopping, scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, buffing, etc.).

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday

1:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Lunch break: 30 minutes
