About Children's Minnesota Children's Minnesota is the seventh largest pediatric health system in the United States and the only health system in Minnesota to provide care exclusively to children, from before birth through young adulthood. Provides verification of insurance and performs necessary prior authorization using Medicalis. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of health unit coordinator or medical secretary program or two years of medical office (hospital clerical support experience). Knowledge of medical terminology.
