PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:
Conduct compliance audit to adidas suppliers mainly in footwear, garment and accessory industrials for both Tier 1 and material Tier 2.
Update audit reports in the shared platform (i.e FFC)
Identify the areas of risk to adidas in respect of working conditions and standards. Provide to the Line Manager recommendations in respect of those risks, based on legal obligations and SEA requirements
Other temporary tasks assigned by Line Manager.
Internal interactions within SEA department.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Academics & Training Background
University Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Human Resource Management, Law or related Fieldsare preferrable.
At least 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing industry with focus on compliance, or at least three years’ experience in the areas of compliance audit in brand’s compliance team or in auditing firm.
Written Communication - be able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect.
Language – Knowledge of local language and dialects in country of operation. Fluent written and spoken English.
The job requires hands on experience in the field.
Frequent travel in the designated country is essential. Be able to work in industrial environment.
Be able to trouble shoot issues, identify risks, and manage crises.
