Responsibilities
  • Serve as Senior Test Manager for a major Operational Test Command (OTC) Test Directorate.
  • Act as advisor to the Director, and directorate personnel, on all operational/user tests and evaluations.
  • Evaluate test methodologies and instrumentation developed by the Directorate, for quality, completeness and efficiency.
  • Review test programs and documentation developed and written within the Directorate.
  • Interview and recommend selections of candidates for positions based on knowledge of position(s) and skill set(s) required.
  • Assist employees in improvement of performance by keeping them informed of policies and management programs.
  • Ensure adequate internal control systems are developed and operative so that government resources are efficiently and effectively managed.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to pay band of NH-03 level OR GS-13 grade level in Federal service which includes performing duties and advising on matters within a test directorate pertaining to operational/user tests, evaluations and test programs.
