National Vision HRIS Reporting Analyst - Contract in Duluth, Georgia
The HR Business Analyst supports the business with HRIS reporting and value added analysis that will assist management in developing strategies around the Company’s human resources.
What Would You Do?
Supports the business with regular reporting along with ad hoc reporting and specific analyses.
Creates informative, actionable and repeatable reporting to highlight HR metrics and trends. Analyzes trends using business modeling tools, identifies areas of risk and opportunity within the business, and brings observations to the attention of management along with recommendations
Maintains and enhances current reporting deliverables while exploring new and innovative ways to report and evaluate data.
Monitor database processes for data integrity maintenance and works with IT database engineers and the HRIS team to make necessary system improvements.
Assists in the development of new data processes as needed and edits current processes for the ever changing business needs.
Forecasts people metrics, builds assumptions and analyzes models for people processes.
Develops and builds online system dashboards and ad hoc reporting through HRIS systems such as Cognos Business Intelligence, Business Objects, ATS, etc.
Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and reconciles conflicts. Identifies new sources of information and leads efforts to capture, analyze and disseminate that information.
Supports research requests from leadership by creating and analyzing ad hoc reports into key performance and people metric results.
Collaborates effectively and builds strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders and partners in other HR teams, Payroll, IT, Company leadership, and other business partners.
Trains others in successful execution of dashboards and other reporting resources.
Tests new systems.
Four year college degree, or equivalent experience
5 years related experience
4+ years Business Analyst experience including data analysis/data relationship management, data warehousing and report writing.
3+ years HR experience.
Experience working with UltiPro and Business Objects (reporting system) required.
Knowledge of SQL preferred. Familiar with data query/data management tools. Familiar with data warehouse concepts
