Renewable Energy seeks a strong candidate to support the development of an enterprise application strategy for the Renewables business, focusing on implementing digital enabling systems to deliver measurable business benefits. The Renewables Business ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) GSCM (Global Supply Chain Management) Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring high quality deployment of wing-to-wing global business process solutions leveraging strategic business technology.
The Digital ERP Project manager will demonstrate accountability for Renewables global business processes and ERP Program objectives related to Global Supply Chain Management. The Digital ERP Project manager will be responsible for ensuring high quality deployment of wing-to-wing business processes in manufacturing, warehouse and sourcing functional area leveraging enabling technology such as Oracle ERP.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead and execute blueprint discovery and definition for manufacturing, warehousing, quality and sourcing to drive global business solutions leveraging pillar software.
Partner with GSCM leaders to develop quantifiable business value propositions tying business outcomes to digital thread enablement through enterprise platforms.
Direct programs to enable on time, on budget delivery while influencing business simplification and process improvements.
Act as delivery stakeholder on behalf of functional business leaders to ensure proper prioritization and execution of mission critical initiatives.
Ensure Blueprint gaps are identified by team, and best practices/lessons learned are applied throughout discovery lifecycle.
Collaborate and implement best practices to improve customer’s solution leveraging pillar systems and software implementations across GE.
Serve as direct liaison to technical IT owners to translate and prioritize requirements for assigned projects or operations areas while minimizing customizations while still closing blueprint gaps.
Establish & maintain effective working relationships with vendors, global teams, shared services, & COEs to create & propose functional solutions with high impact to the business.
Leverage team to drive critical path decisions, make recommendations & influence program leaders & business process owners to maximize project payback globally.
Ensure conformance to established systems architecture, IT standards/practices and GE Quality initiatives
Ensure rigor of project execution, budget/scope management, contracted resource management, and adherence to Renewable Energy’s Project Management Methodology.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of demonstrated experience in global supply chain functions within new units/parts warehousing and manufacturing
High Energy & Self Motivated
Minimum of 5 years of experience with related function with strong leadership when interacting with Shared Services
Demonstrated leadership in ERP implementations for regional/functional areas as they relate to global supply chain
Exceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication, leadership and organization skills
Proven strong quantitative, analytical and problem resolution skills
International travel required
