In this role you will help to bring out the best ideas from the best data engineering & operations team by empowering them and leading by example.
As a passionate leader you will be partnering with Business Units, Functional Groups, Architects and the Intuit Data community to transition to leading and innovative public cloud based data platform that will enable Intuit to continue to thrive as a data-driven company.
You will actively partner with industry experts, solution providers and stakeholders on stewardship of how Intuit will continue meeting the needs of data analysts, scientists and data consumers into the future.
As a data platform leader, you will lead a team of engineers to implement and operate data pipelines, help build a data Lake and provide data processing & data mart solutions at scale using traditional and cutting edge cloud based technologies and tools.
5 plus years’ experience as an established technical leader of data engineering and operations teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven solutions.
Minimum of 12 years of experience on data pipelines (batch & real time), ETL, warehousing and analytical platforms.
Experience with many of these technologies required:
Oracle (OLAP, Golden Gate, Veridata)
ETL (Informatica Power Center and Cloud)
AWS Data Services (S3, EMR/ Hadoop – Spark, Presto, Hive, Pig etc., RDS Oracle, Redshift, Glue, Athena, QuickSight …)
Passion for automating everything, adopting cutting edge CI/ CD solutions and improving operational rigor is required.
Experience migrating from on premise data solutions to public cloud is preferred.
BS/ B. Tech in Computer Science / MIS or equivalent work-related experience
Experience with Agile development and methodologies.
Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating effective engineering & operations teams and leading with one team mindset.
Ability to think independently and act strategically for all stakeholders
Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
